Jon Vassa is a science fiction writer who wanted a website to showcase some of his short stories as well as his stop-motion videos and artwork.
I created a website with science fiction elements paired with a brighter colour palette to create a look and feel that runs through most of his stories. On the story page, I had the image of the book cover stick in place as the user scrolls to create an interesting effect.
