My Pet Cove is an online store that sells pet accessories. They approached me to help them design their logo and develop a brand to help them stand out from the competition.
The logo consists of the following elements: the letter “P”, the silhouette of an animal head that doubles up as a heart, signifying our love for our pets. The shape of the animal head is intentionally ambiguous so it can be interpreted as either a cat or a dog.
The letter “P” is surrounding/housing the animal like a cove, and also looks like another heart shape.
The words “My Pet Cove” is set in a rounded typeface in lower case to give off a friendly vibe.
The colour palette was chosen for its playfulness and vibrance.
